Long before I became a wedding planner, the Brock House was one of my favourite wedding venues in Vancouver. It’s the epitome of West Coast charm—sweeping ocean and mountain views, the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor spaces, and a culinary experience that reminds you why Vancouver is a true foodie city.

When N & D reached out to inquire about our month-of wedding coordination services, we instantly connected. Although D grew up in Vancouver, the couple now lives in Arizona, so planning a wedding from afar meant they needed support with logistics and trusted vendor recommendations. Once we began working together, they shared their vision, aesthetic, and priorities. From there, we took over all vendor communication, built a detailed wedding day timeline, and ensured every detail aligned seamlessly.

Their wedding day was an absolute joy. With a morning ceremony followed by a lunch reception, the celebration felt intimate, heartfelt, and deeply personal. It was clear from the start how cherished these two are by their families and friends.

As guests arrived, live classical music from Musos Entertainment created the perfect welcoming atmosphere. The space was enhanced with romantic florals by Petalino Flower Bar, adding elegance to the morning light.

Once guests were seated and the musicians were ready, our team coordinated the processional—timed precisely as practiced during the rehearsal (which we always highly recommend!).

One of the reasons we love planning weddings at the Brock House is the versatility of the venue. For N & D, we designed a flow that highlighted all the unique spaces:

This allowed guests to enjoy a natural progression through the property, discovering something new and beautiful at each stage.

During cocktail hour, we welcomed guests to the west lawn, where a mix of high and low tables encouraged mingling. Peake Catering served delicious appetizers that guests absolutely loved.

For seating, the couple chose a framed-stationery display instead of a traditional seating chart—an elegant and unique touch that photographed beautifully.

As guests moved into the reception tent, N & D slipped away for a quick outfit change. Our emergency kit made a surprise appearance—several strategic safety pins saved the day, and you’d never know they were there!
